| Abstract. | The new edition of the federal state educational standard of high professional education in Urban planning (the third generation of educational standards) is in a stage of development. The work on this document has raised the question about systematization of the competences, which should have the graduates of high school. The various definition of objects and kinds of town-planning activity, formalization of the base competences list, and curriculum in urban planning are considered. This is an author's edition of the article «The educational standard and competences of the town-planners», published in the journal «Architecture and construction of Russia» in February, 2009. |
