| Title of the article | The influence of architecture on adaptation to Arctic climatic conditions |
| Abstract. | Problem statement. This work is devoted to the study of the interaction between man and the architectural environment in extreme climatic conditions of the Arctic. The features of psychological and philosophical perception of architecture are considered. The purpose of the study is to identify the role and capabilities of architecture in the issue of human adaptation to the conditions of the polar environment. Results. Aspects of human perception of the architectural environment in the Arctic, their fundamental features. The classification of architectural methods and techniques to more effectively help people adapt to the polar climate environment. Conclusions. The significance of this study for architecture is that the compiled classification allows to systematize the key points in the Arctic design, which helps in the design process to form a more comfortable and effectively operated environment that facilitates human adaptation to harsh climatic conditions. |
