Title of the article | Traditional dwelling in the aspect of energy saving |
Abstract. | Traditional dwelling in different climatic zones based on the accounting of climatic conditions. This aspect is realized in the choice of a rational form and dwelling size, the inclusion of buildings into the natural landscape, the orientation relative to the sun, the direction of wind flows, using natural materials typical for the area, which provides optimal indoor climate. Particular attention is given to energy-saving solutions in the interior layout. Of course, for each climate zone these solutions are different, but in the dwelling within the same climatic zone there are many similarities. The index of the shape of a building is calculated as one of the major space-planning indicators, which allow to conclude about the level of energy efficiency. The trends and the general direction of the architectural and planning methods of energy saving in a traditional dwelling clearly present in the following table, compiled from the results of the study. Traditional architecture in the development process accumulates in itself only the best, viable. That is why it is necessary to pay attention to the valuable experience of the ancient nameless architects at the present stage design. |
