Title of the article | Typology of low-rise energy efficient residential buildings for the climatic conditions of the Middle Volga |
Abstract. | The article under the title «Typology of low-rise energy efficient residential building» deals with form building questions which are of current important in architecture-energy efficient residential building (EERB). Typology of low and middle number of storeys EERB is formed with regard to climatic conditions of Middle Volga. Typological division is performed in the first stage depending on the nature of the relationship with the environment, then - according to the different ways of implementing the principle of thermal zoning, the location of the buffer zones and heat core. The gist of the principle of thermal zoning is determined. Particular attention is given to a typology of low number of storeys EERB which combines private house and block dwelling. As part of following the general concept of the formation of homestead type architecture of EERB are three options: a traditional form, directed form, residential building in relief. Block energy efficient housing is created by single and double row locking block of apartments, formation of residential building in relief. The study revealed the benefits and drawbacks of each type. Finally, the conclusion about the perspectivity of application of a low-rise energy efficient block buildings in urban development is given. |
