| Abstract. | The article describes the practice of creative unions in architectural activity. More than 10 examples of creative partnerships are described in article since the beginning of the twentieth century to the present day. Dynamics of the occurrence of architectural studios in which pair design is the main creative method displays that the joint work of architecture is sustainable phenomenon, which requires detailed study and development of its technique. The article also describes the tools and techniques of pair design, analyzes the positive and negative aspects of co-creation in architectural process. Positives aspects: mutual interaction and education, changing roles help to find bright design ideas quickly, working in one file minimize the mistakes and something important not taken into account. Negative aspects: personal conflicts, difficulties in authors identity. |
