Title of the article | Numerical and natural experiments in probes of composite steel and concrete structures |
Abstract. | In connection with the tendency of increased use of composite steel and concrete structures in Russian construction industry there is a need to analyze the stress-and-strain mode of such structural elements for various modes of loading. Different mathematical approaches are used in order to define stress-and strain mode. At the moment many researchers in search of effective model engage application software complexes, that is numerical experiment. However reliability of received data depends heavily on the chosen model of numerical experiment which should correspond to the physical model of structural behavior. Application software complex ANSYS was used for numerical experiment here. For initial data strength and geometrical parameters of experimental large-scale samples of composite steel and concrete structures were taken, testing of which took place at laboratory facilities of Kazan State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering. Experimental composite T-beams are depicted in the paper, as well as the method of full-scale tests and analysis of test result. Computer-aided pictures of stresses in composite steel and concrete T-beam are shown, stress and strain diagram of steel beam and RC slab for different level of loads is analyzed. Pictures of stresses in shear connectors at steel-concrete contact zone. Stress diagrams of composite steel and concrete beam height according to calculations by software complex ANSYS and to results of full-scale experiment are given for comparison analysis. Comparison analysis of deflection diagram obtained from calculations by ANSYS program and from full-scale beam model test results, is shown. |
