| Abstract. | At present any city has to enter into a competition with other cities. Competition for all the things – for investments, informational and tourist flows, talented teachers, medical doctors, managers. The territory of the city in all times of its growth was developed by separate, local in composition "settlement" of different size. The settlements have saved its planning structure and key objects, and their role in the history of the city is significant. It is necessary not only to save potential of the city (its cultural and historical heritage), but also effectively involve it into economical and social life of the city. Competent use of the cultural and historical heritage of Kazan is a weighty competitive advantage over the other cities in the advancement of its brand name. |
