| Аннотация. | Рассматривается, характер и степень освоения береговых территорий, система водного транспорта г. Самара. Выявляются основные факторы и проблемные территории, препятствующие развитию береговых зон города Самары и нарушающие взаимосвязь между городом и акваторией. К ним относятся: ежегодное затопление пойменных берегов р. Волги и р. Самары; упадок системы речного транспорта; градостроительные проблемы береговых территорий, выражающаяся в концентрации деградирующих промышленных зон на береговых территориях, отсутствии визуальных связей между городом и водоемом, отсутствие свободного доступа жителей к водоему, несбалансированность функций береговой полосы города. |

| Title of the article | Problems of interaction between the city and the water area in Samara |
| Abstract. | A system of water transport, the nature and degree of development of coastal areas of Samara are considered, the problem of interaction of the city and the water area are identified. The analysis allows to identify the main factors and problem areas, impeding the development of the coastal zones of Samara and breaking the relationship between the city and the water area. These include: the annual flooding of the bank of the floodplain of Volga and Samara rivers; the decrease of water transport situation; urban problems of coastal areas, as expressed in the concentration of degraded industrial zones in the coastal areas, the absence of visual connections between the city and the pond, the lack of free access for residents to the pond, the imbalance in the functions of the city foreshore. It is advisable to develop a scientifically based strategy of recovery and organization of new architectural and planning relations between the city and the water area, more efficient use of coastal zones. |
