Title of the articleAbout the typology of mini-hotels for ethnographic tourism
Abstract.In recent years in the developed countries, the number of travelers increases. The increasing of the level of culture and public education encourages people to cross-cultural communications, to the expansion of business, scientific, technological and other ties. World tourism is actively developing. Today, it is important to develop new types of tourism, which can involve a natural, historical and cultural heritage of the countries into the tourist business. One of the ways of revival and preservation of heritage is the development of ethnographic tourism. Issues related to the specialized housing for tourists, who are fond of ethnography, not resolved, so this was the purpose of scientific research. The article presents the main points of research; goals, objectives and methods of design of mini-hotels for tourism with manufacturing facilities for the organizing of handicraft, artistic and ethnic activity, are discussed. The authors are suggesting the types of mini-hotels for ethnographic tourism. They are underlying principles of functional and spatial organization of mini-hotels for tourism: 1 - the principle of functional zoning of residential and industrial premises; 2 - the principle of optimization of production facilities; 3 - the principle of universal organization of production facilities; 4 - the principle of integration of residential and industrial premises; 5 - the principle of modular design of production facilities. The work is based on the historical experience, current status and major trends in tourism abroad and in Russia. The main research tools were a sociological survey of the population and an expert survey of specialists.
