| Аннотация. | Изменения в социально-экономической сфере трансформируют требования к выпускникам высшей школы, включая в понятие профессиональной компетентности социальные, коммуникативные, организаторские умения и личностные качества специалиста. Высшая школа все еще продолжает опираться на традиционные методики преподавания, которые не могут отвечать этим запросам. Активизация внеучебной сферы дает возможности преодоления разрыва. Повышая мотивационный, профессионально-деятельностный и рефлексивный компоненты образовательного процесса, внеучебная деятельность повышает качество профессиональной подготовки в целом, а имея гуманитарную направленность особенно актуальна для технических вузов. |

| Title of the article | The role of extracurricular activities in the preparation of a modern specialist |
| Abstract. | New system of economic relations has penetrated into all spheres of life and changed them. There are certain requirements to the professional qualities of a significant person, in particular, require organizational skills and management. The success of post-graduate work is not only professional but also social mobility, ability to perform specific professional and social roles, rapid adaptation to both the production and the corporate culture of the organization. The main deficiency of the traditional education system in the initial absence of its objectives to build and develop the skills of collective interaction, the need for which stems from the collective nature of most activities. Extra-curricular activities support a mechanism balancing the education system, creating an additional and necessary quality specialist. It solves several problems, hard to reach by traditional methods: the skills of collective thinking and action, decision-making skills of adaptation, interaction and communication in changing groups, the ability to plan and organize the execution of the task, raising social qualities and values, including responsibility, punctuality, integrity, honesty and decency. Increasing the motivation, skills and reflective components of the activity of the educational process, extracurricular activities improves the quality of training in general. |
