Title of the articleTo the issue of automatic control processes of separation of oil emulsions in pressure hydrocyclones
Abstract.The introduction of industrial methods of oil fields development includes widespread use of high level automated block purification plants of oilfield wastewater. High and stable purification effect of oilfield sewage can be achieved by pretreatment in the hydrodynamic pressure hydrocyclones. It increases the depth of oilfield sewage purification from oil and reduces duration of purification by consistent upholding in 1,5-2 times and more. Flow visualization studies on transparent (glass, plexiglas) hydrocyclones showed that the surface of the resulting air cord (oil-gas-water cord) continuously performs an oscillatory motion, pulsates in radial direction. The amplitude of pulsation axis cyclone depending on the mode (supply pressure) of fluid flow in the cavity of device is about 4?5 mm. Ripple frequency of the surface roughly equal to the frequency of flow rotation also depends on the mode of supply: pressure increases with increasing power, and the amplitude decreases with increasing pressure at the inlet of device. For the mode with relatively high separation effect of emulsion is characterized by a small-scale ripple of surface over the entire height of the working zone of device. This circumstance contributes to the shift of the globules of oil relative to each other, their effective and often clash in the area of the nucleus and finally coalescence of particles of oil. It was found that the separation process of oil-field sewage particularly of highly concentrated with oil and water-cut oil separation in pressure hydrocyclones with the free discharge of water through the bottom drain is accompanied by the sound generation of a certain frequency. Magnitude of the frequency of sound corresponds to a specific purification effect size, that can be used to regulate the separation process (purification).
