Title of the article | Calculation of bearing structural elements of advertising designs using the methods of reliability theory |

Abstract. | A method of selecting sections of the support legs advertising designs the most common structural form using the methods of reliability. Establish the relationship between the probability of loss of strength of the support post advertising structure and the area of its cross section, using the model described in the article to determine its failure with the description of stresses in the design section of the rack wind load as a random variable with a Weibull distribution law, and the strength of steel pedestal as a random variable with normal distribution. The relationship between the probability of failure in the form of the loss of strength and the cross-sectional area for the most common practice in the design of steel grades and profiles was shown. From the minimum of the objective function of the total expected cost is the corresponding optimal value of the refusal of the support post, allowing finding the optimal value obtained dependences cross-sectional area of the support post. A plot of the optimal values of the areas of supports from the time of operation and projected income from the operation of advertising structures for the most common grades of steel profiles and sections was shown. |
