Title of the articleEvaluation experience of persistence of properties of low water cement flour
Abstract. The problem of aging of a portland cement and its versions at long storage is one of the most actual around the world, and its decision is economically very expensive. As a rule, ordinary portland cement within 6 months of storage loses to 30 % of its activity and aggregates till the sizes of 5-40 mm. However the specified problem of aging is not typical to low water requirement cement (LWRC) peculiar to cements which though receive from a Portland cement or its clinker, but it is unique knitting with a long keeping of initial properties. To check its ability we determined a specific surface, extent of aggregation, activity by durability of the low water requirement cements stored in sealed bags in room conditions within one year. Received results didn't confirm known data on long-term safety of LWRC properties in comparison with ordinary portland cement. Despite insignificant decrease in a specific surface of LWRC it is aggregated in lumps like a portland cement. The water requirement of the sandy solution (GOST 310.4) prepared on the basis of stored LWRC, raises on 12,1 … 21,2 % of rather the fresh prepared LWRC. Sorption humidity of LWRC and a portland cement in 9 months is almost identical and, makes 20,3 and 19,2 %, respectively.
Keywords.Low water requirement cement, keeping the activity in strength, sorption humidity, surface.
